Some Updates

I know I haven't posted anything on here in a awhile. I really haven't had anything to review.

There's been a new jailbreak out for the Iphone and Ipod touch. It's called Blackrain by Geohut. This is the easiest jailbreak out there. It takes about 5 seconds if that. It jailbreaks the new 3.1.2 firmware. (I realize this is old news)

Speck CandyShell Review.

This is the Speck CandyShell case I got for my Ipod Touch 2g. This color combination is called, "Lemondrop Liquorice." They also have another color for the 2g which is a white and red which they call, "Cranberry White Truffle."
I've had this case on my touch for a couple weeks now and I love it except for one thing. That one thing is at the bottom of your touch where you see just a strip of yellow(refer to picture)is bendy and kind of gets in the way sometimes. That is the only thing about this case that bothers me. What I love about this case is that on the inside or the yellow part is silicone and the black is hard and protective. This means you have pretty much a two layer deal. First the silicone then the hard protective covering. So, let's say you drop your touch you kind of get a shock absorbing silicone and then the hard covering. Which I think is great.
Overall this product has a great design, it's light weight, doesn't add much bulk at all, and is a great case. The Speck CandyShell for the 2g Ipod Touch currently sells for $34.95 I personally think it's worth it. You get a screen protector and cleaning cloth included with your case. My rating for this case: 4 1/2 out of 5.

Two Great Apps To Check Out.

Okay so, I'm gonna give you two apps for the itouch and a little review on them. Let's get things started.

#1: Myspace Mobile (Yes, this does work for the itouch.)
      App store price - Free
      This is a great app if you want to log onto your myspace and check things out fairly quickly.
      You can send and receive messages. You also can browse your friends and see their current status.
      Another feature is uploading and sharing pictures right from your itouch.
      You can post comments and look at bulletins.
      The only downfall I feel from this app is that it does not currently have push notifications.
      All in all it's a great app if you have a Myspace. My rating: 4 out of 5.

#2: Facebook Mobile (Yes, this also does work for the itouch.)
      App store price - Free
      This is a great app as well. What I really like about this app is that it does have landscape mode.
      You can even use the Facebook chat with this app. It will let you do pretty much anything.
      You can check events, friends birthdays, update your status, upload pictures, ect, ect.
      Very great app. I highly recommend this app if you use Facebook.
       Unlike the Myspace app, the Facebook app does have push notifications. My rating: 5 out of 5

What This Is about.

Okay. So, what I'm going to be doing is reviewing the ipod itouch and some apps. Also, I will do case reviews for the itouch. I will do my best to answer your questions. If you have an app you'd like me to review then leave a comment asking me to and I will get to it.
Other things I might do on this blog is review the new itunes 9 and it's new features and maybe throw in some random news.
